Mathieu / Monsieur Danger - (dinner concert)

MATHIEU is a child of pop and classical music - he graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. As a child, he spent his time on a mini synthesizer given to him by his parents, strangers to the world of music. He took the worst songs he heard at family parties and arranged them. He sings the hits of the moment at the top of his lungs and accompanies himself on this makeshift keyboard, which will become his crowning glory. A happy songwriter by nature, he originally composed sad love songs. The Saône-et-Loire-born artist is mostly influenced by French chanson musicians such as Michel Berger, Véronique Sanson, Mathieu Chedid, Juliette Armanet and Barbara. Tim Dup's soft, poetic, electro pop has been with him since his early days, as has Clara Ysé's mad melancholy. Over the years, this sentimentalist has given his compositions an ever more mischievous twist, the better to laugh at what moves us. As light-hearted as he is committed, MATHIEU's heady tunes deliver tales full of gay-ness. Driven by sophisticated, effective samples, his first EP brings together the worlds of pop and beautiful harmonies.
