The hike begins on the famous GR5 trail. As you gradually gain elevation, you’ll enjoy the rural setting and unobstructed views of the Pays Welche. Continue on until you reach the highest point of the hike: the Petit Brézouard (1,203 m). A quiet zone established to protect the capercaillie prohibits access to the summit of the Grand Brézouard.
Let yourself be enchanted by the final kilometers as you follow the narrow, steep trail that leads you to the Château de Le Bonhomme. This scenic stretch offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and the village.
We promise you’ll quickly forget the elevation gain when you take in the exceptional scenery that awaits you on this trail.
