Rothbach

From Offwiller, the road immediately leads to Rothbach, a Commune situated at the entrance to the valley of the same name, which presents the same picturesque character. Continuing up the valley, the visitor will come upon sandstone quarries. Stone was extracted from the Rothbach quarries to be used in the building of Strasbourg Cathedral. Farther on, you will reach Lichtenberg, containing one of the most complete medieval fortresses in the Northern Vosges.
