With Rue du Dr Schweitzer on your left head for St Wendelin’s chapel (1566).
Take care crossing the road, then follow the woodland path heading uphill to the right on the outskirts of Dinsheim-sur-Bruche.
Felsbourg

Continue straight on past all the houses. At a small junction carry straight on towards Mutzig – Le Felsbourg. Bear left, then walk alongside the fields, parallel to the minor road until the next crossroads; take the path on your right, which heads into the trees, and carry straight on.
Au Tannen

Continue straight on to the crossroads, where you will see the road below. Don’t head down to the road, but continue straight on for a further 200 metres, then take the path on your left, which leads to the road; walk along the road for about 100 metres.
Au Kreuzbauemel

which will take you to the wayside cross. The path is uphill for about 150 metres, but is not particularly difficult. There is a panoramic view from the wayside cross.
Au Schiebenberg

Carry straight on for a further 400 metres to a small crossroads, where you will be able to admire the Alsatian plain. Take the uphill path on your left towards the look-out point. Carry straight on as far as the small crossroads. Take the path on your right, then carry straight on. Turn left at the crossroads to the Schiebenberg statue of the Virgin Mary, where there is a wonderful panoramic view.
Mutzig

Head back, following the route marked for Mutzig. After the last step, turn right and take the path opposite (downhill), carrying straight on until you reach a bench. Follow on your left the sign to St Wendelin’s chapel. Ignore the paths that cross the route.
Dinsheim

At the end of the path, bear right to join the minor road. Cross the road and follow it for about 100 metres, then turn left onto a path alongside houses on the outskirts of Dinsheim-sur-Bruche. 50 metres further on you will find, on your right, the path you started out on.
